[HS]-Sheffield to Manchester Semi-Fast, Part 1 (Class 76) (WHBR Version)

14 Class 76s were configured to operate passenger trains, being fitted with steam heating boilers to allow them to heat coaching stock during the brutal Pennine winters. These locomotives were turned out in BR Green, and were usually allocated to semi-fast workings between Sheffield and Manchester. In this two-part scenario, we will recreate a typical semi-fast working of the early 1960s between Sheffield Victoria and Manchester London Road. In Part 1, 26046 Archimedes has just been attached to the coaches, which have been brought in by an Annesley-based V2. You will open the doors, and once you have departure clearance you will set off for Manchester. In the first leg, you will call at Penistone and Hadfield only. Duration: 35 minutes.
