In the Zone, a firefight is a brutal, lightning-fast conversation, and your weapon does all the talking. For too long, the visual language of combat has lacked its necessary punch. Muzzle flashes have felt weak, and impacts have gotten lost in the chaos.

Enhanced Combat VFX is a focused visual overhaul designed to make every single shot feel visceral and impactful. This is not a sweeping gameplay change, but a dedicated graphical enhancement that replaces the standard firearm effects with meticulously crafted, dynamic, and realistic alternatives. The goal is to ground you in the harsh reality of combat, making it a more intense and visually arresting experience.

Core Features:

• Added Muzzle Flash: Every firearm now features a unique, high-fidelity muzzle flash. From the sharp, violent burst of a rifle to the wide plume of a shotgun, effects are designed to look brutal and believable. Muzzle flashes now cast a brief, realistic light on your immediate surroundings. Use the fleeting illumination in dark spaces to your advantage, but be aware—it also gives away your position.
  
• Dynamic Combat Smoke: Smoke is leftover from all weapons, leaving behind clouds of smoke to add weight to sustained fights.
  
• Improved Laser Sight: Thinner and more tactical laser sight that isn't a sore for the eyes.

This mod conflicts with any other mods that alter the core _MuzzleF_ particle, material, or visual effect assets for firearms.

The assets modified by this mod are compiled and repackaged Unreal Engine assets. They cannot be easily merged with other VFX mods that may be released in the future. You will need to choose which one to use.
