Göktürk Flavor - GIGACHAD FLAVOR

描述
Göktürk Flavor is a mod centered on giving some uniquely Turkic flavor for the Khans of the Steppe DLC, which was more distinctly Mongol flavored.

This mod includes a series of decisions about reviving the Göktürk Empire and its culture, as well as a dynasty legacy for Turkic rulers that gives them some new decisions and options for how to rule their empires, either on the steppes, or as a settled ruler.

CURRENTLY UPDATED FOR: 1.16.2.2 (current patch as of May 26th 2025).
CURRENT MOD VERSION: 1.0

1.0 Patch:
-First Public upload of the mod.

DYNASTY LEGACIES
-added the "Turkic Lineage" dynasty legacy track.
-added the "War Games" raid intent.
-added the "Favor a Culture" Decision.
-added the "Find a Talented Raider" Decision.

GOKTURK FLAVOR
-added the "Reform the Göktürk Empire" Decision.
-added the "Unite the Turkic Languages" Decision.
-added the "Revitalize the Göktürk Culture" Decision.
-added 1 new culture: Göktürk Culture.
-added the "Celestial Hunters" Cultural Tradition.
-added the "Celestial Riders" Cultural Tradition.
-added the "Tributary Lords" Cultural Tradition.

LEGENDS
-added 2 unique legends: "The Ashina Clan" and "The Legend of Ergenekon."
-added the "Ashina Tamga" artifact.
-added the "Hammer of Ergenekon" artifact.
-I want to emphasize that these 2 legends are... quite different from the base-game legends, in terms of outcomes.

you're totally right about the brackets being not filled.for whatever reason the fix still worked

In the photo you shard you open 10 brackets but close only 9. Are you sure this is working?

okay so I fixed the issue with the dynasty legacy thing.... relentless autism for it to be correct had me learn some basic ck3 scripting to figure it out, but to fix it yourself until an update is pushed is as follows:

1. navigate to the mod file which is in "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\1158310\3484423234\common\dynasty_legacies

2. then make sure the "00_gk_dynasty_legacies file looks EXACTLY like this photo [imgur.com]

3. Make sure that all the brackets are closed, count them to make sure or else it wont work if brackets arent closed; indentation doesnt matter.

4. save file and boom should work as intended now, all turks will have the legacy and no more non turks will have it,

For some reason when I use this mod, non-Turkic realms like the Rus' and the Abbasids are able to build the Gokturk Archer Cavalry.. and I hadn't even taken the Gokturk decision myself yet and it didn't seem as if any of the AI had, though the Khazars also had the cavalry but the decision was still available so I don't think they had chosen the decision.. Not sure if it's this mod or something else though because I've also noticed Keshig becoming available to build despite not having the 4th Nomadic dynasty perk that unlocks it.

okay technically it touches one, which is the file that determines what modifiers allow someone to raid, which is only because there's no other way to change who can raid. It's this file:

No overwrites. It doesn't touch any vanilla files.
