The Grog's Advanced Systems Corporation: "Technology is the Best Weapon" is a (fictional)international company founded by (also fictional) Grog D. Williams starting in the 1960s. Currently only 1 person actually builds and advertises all the GASco stuff in Stormworks so it isn't much a corporation either. However, anybody who wishes to be part of the company can join.

GASco as a shortcut term is pronounced as the word "Gas" then "Koh". The full name is too long so use this shortcut term instead.

Currently, there is no discord server yet for GASco unless everyone wishes to make a server out of it.


Despite being operated by a single person currently, GASco have some (fictional)history for anyone interested in lore stuff (remember, everything about these is fictional and not real).

Grog D. Williams was an American WW2 pilot who earned ace status after scoring 9 victories against German aircraft:5 BF-109s, 3 FW-190s and a BF-110 in a P-51D Mustang. During the Korean War, Grog also flew an F-86 Sabre but never got to shot down a single MiG.
Grog then becomes a test pilot for many experimental US aircraft. In an accident, Grog crashed an experimental aircraft, was hospitalized and never flew another aircraft again.

Grog then started the company, GASco in the 1960s to design his own aircraft, land vehicles, and ships. These have funding from the Pentagon but mainly for exporting instead of new classified American equipment. Grog died in 1976 after a heart attack. GASco was then sold to be owned by multiple European countries a few decades after Grog died. But during these decades, there is almost no activity at the GASco HQ. Nothing was happening because their only lead designer died with no heir to the company. After those searching which after the company was purchased, these European countries since then used GASco to make export aircraft, land vehicles, and ships producing profit.

New products introduced things such as radar, engines, other sensors and electronics, and most importantly, missiles. Missiles such as the ASRAPEX and later the Skylight become a core symbol of GASco weaponry.

When the Skylight was introduced by GASco, it started out as the I version which is similar to the AIM-120B in terms of performance so it's not that special. Then came the II variant which gave it a smokeless booster, but it was largely ineffective. the 3M version was introduced which had more maneuverability and was based on the AIM-120A instead thinking the A variant is superior to the B (yes, a little of common sense disappeared here), but the missile was still very ineffective.

It wasn't until the AMRSKL (Advanced Medium Range Skylight) was introduced. It had thrust vectoring, though it was slower than the Skylight I-3M variants, it was still far better. It had IOG unlike the previous variant and the smokeless motor was removed as it was not much required. It was also larger and can re-engage targets. However, there was nothing to carry the AMRSKL so the D-4500 Super Oasis Multirole Fighter and the SLAMR-SKL MVADS was introduced to carry them. All other roles were secondary to these 2 vehicles as they were solely made to carry the AMRSKL before eventually adding all other role capabilities.

The SEASKL (Sea Skylight) was promptly introduced when people wanted the option to intercept missiles instead of aircraft, so the SEASKL was made. The SEASKL had TWS multi track capabilities unlike the AMRSKL though it's not as maneuverable as it's made to intercept missiles. It also lost the ability to loft as it made to target missiles immediately. is up to the customers whenever they want the SEASKL's ability to intercept missiles and its TWS multi-track capabilities or have the regular AMRSKL which have the maneuverability and lofting.

The Cyclone Frigate initially used the AMRSKL but used the SEASKL instead as it was more important to intercept missiles than it is to intercept aircraft. And that's the trilogy of the D-4500, SLAMR-SKL, and Cyclone.
