Version: 1.0.0.6

This mod adds ability to increase or decrease workers / residents below buildings.
This mod is for mono version and is tested on 0.9.7.

NOTE: To modify residents in house increase or decrease "Shelter" value.

Configuration
Configuration file is located at Farthest Frontier\Farthest Frontier (Mono)\UserData\VC_ModifyWorkerSlots.cfg.

In below table you can see the workers added and the allowed range by which workers/residents can be added or decreased. For example, in barn, up to 6 workers can be decreased and 12 workers at max can be added.
  • By default zero, meaning no workers/residents, are added to any building. You need to edit config file in order to increase or decrease the number of workers.
  • There is option to increase or decrease the workers by using negative or positive values within range.

For example, below log will be printed when game starts.
if you want to add 2 workers to "Shelter", you can set it as below. Min is -2 and Max is 8. -ve will reduce the workers and +ve will increase the workers.

How to use?
  1. Subscribe to the mod.
  2. Delete older config file if exists.
  3. Launch game (Mono version). This will create new config file. Exit from main menu.
  4. Now edit config file and launch again.

CAUTION: Changing "Min" and "Max" in config file has no effect on actual limits.

To modify values as shown in table, modify as below. This add one worker each to "ChickenCoop " and "HunterBuilding ". It add two residents to "Shelter".
[VC_ModifyWorkerSlots] # Adjusts the workers/residents in ChickenCoop . Min: 0 , Max: 2 ChickenCoop = 1 # Adjusts the workers/residents in HunterBuilding . Min: 0 , Max: 2 HunterBuilding = 1 # Adjusts the workers/residents in Shelter . Min: -2, Max: 8 Shelter = 2

NOTE: To modify residents in house increase or decrease "Shelter" value.

Installation
Put the VC_ModifyWorkerSlots.dll, UniverseLib.Mono.dll and MelonPrefManager.Mono.dll in the Farthest Frontier\Farthest Frontier (Mono)\Mods\ folder.

NOTE: Replace contents of older config or delete older VC_ModifyWorkerSlots.cfg in Farthest Frontier\Farthest Frontier (Mono)\UserData on new update if config doesnt work.

I delete all user config files , let the loader compile new ones all good again

@冰凌宇 I notice there problem as well, but not that serious. for me just like max 8-10 people melting gold. did you cross check the year total produce ? like 4 ppl and 10 ppl

I added workers to the Work Camp, however it is still only at 4 workers. It is working for all the other buildings that I increased.

Hello, I encountered these issues while using this mod in the 1.0 test version. If I increase the number of people to the maximum and fill all the positions with workers, some construction workers won't work, such as those in sawmills, brick factories, paper mills, etc. It might be that the raw materials for these factories have a limit, and the workers don't have enough raw materials, so they won't work. The problem is particularly serious for sawmills. After using the mod, only 4 people can work in the sawmill, while the others are engaged in entertainment. The number of workers is even lower than without using the mod.

Shelter -8 please.my computer is not good,but I build many shelter ,I need every shelter has at least one resident.

I got question , adjust school seems meaning less. and some building also seems meaning less to add more worker. is there any reason?
