『Whispers from Beyond』 introduces a powerful modular armor system with progressive upgrades.
From Vanguard to Juggernaut and Colossus, each armor tier is designed to fit different playstyles and progression levels.

This mod is not just about adding new armor—it’s about growth, customization, and survival.

⚙️ Content Introduction

Players can dismantle old or damaged armor obtained from enemies to craft useful components, which are then used to upgrade or customize new armor.

As you progress, you’ll encounter high-end components and special items such as armor cores, crafting materials, and blueprints.
These enhance key attributes like speed, defense, and durability, giving players a tangible sense of advancement and strategy.

『Whispers from Beyond』 turns armor progression into a meaningful journey of improvement rather than simple gear replacement.
Build, enhance, and perfect your ultimate armor set on the battlefield.

🧭 How to Start

You can purchase the starting armor set for this mod directly from the Doctor.
It serves as your entry point into the upgrade system and can be expanded or customized as you advance.

You can channel flashes of inspiration—fueled by alcohol and paper—into creating blueprints. Give it a try at the workbench!


A new NPC has been added next to the Doctor.

He came here to study the unknown entities crawling beneath the surface of Zakov.
He welcomes new technology—and if you bring him something you’ve created, he’ll take a curious interest in it.


How to check if the mod is applied

Has a new list been added to the workbench?
The list of craftable items at the workbench is updated immediately when the mod is applied. Regardless of any upgraded modules, all craftable mod items should always be visible.

Is there a new NPC next to the doctor?
If the mod has been applied correctly, there should be an NPC wearing my mod’s armor.

Has 24 hours passed in-game?
All traders refresh their shop lists between 7 and 9 in the morning, so you need to spend enough time sleeping in a bed to see the updated shop page.

You need to check two things:

1. Is there a new NPC next to the doctor?
If the mod has been applied correctly, there should be an NPC wearing my mod’s armor.

2. Has 24 hours passed in-game?
All traders refresh their shop lists between 7 and 9 in the morning, so you need to spend enough time sleeping in a bed to see the updated shop page.

Do I need to start a new playthrough to buy the starting armor from doc? cause I dont see it on my current one

Ah i see now, it looks like even tho i updated the mod it was using an older version so i had to uninstall and reinstall to have him show up. thank you very much!

No, that NPC should appear right away if the mod is installed correctly. The exact location is to the left of the doctor, near the entrance to the medical room.

Wanna start off with great mod, amazing work! But there is no npc next to the doctor, is there some trigger that is supposed to make him appear?

In terms of performance, it’s slightly superior to vanilla armor. However, it requires a lot of materials, and repairing it is more expensive than regular armor, so the upkeep costs are high.
