Al-Muqawimun — Enemy Replacer

Four years have passed since the Coalition overthrew the Nowheraki regime. Now, a new power stirs. What once was little more than disparate insurgent groups have united under a single name: al-Muqawimun, the Resistance. Their name and their purpose are one. They will fight until the Coalition has been driven from their homeland. Yet for all their supposed patriotic fervour, telltale signs of external involvement are there for those who would look.

This mod replaces almost all vanilla enemies with entirely new paramilitary fighters inspired by the so called Special Groups that operated in Iraq during the second half of the Iraq War. They are well-trained, heavily armed and certainly dangerous for an unprepared operator.

Particularly fearsome are the Death Squads—religious fanatics dressed in black—and the masked advisors whose distinct camouflage and weapons set them apart from the rest of al-Muqawimun, but even the rank and file should not be underestimated.

Put on your war face and get ready to kick some doors.
