If you're stuck, looking to improve your score, or just curious, this is where you'll find the best solutions for a standard game (free of toll tricks and glitches).

The guide includes a table listing record scores for each level, along with the names of players who achieved them.

Whenever possible, it provides links to in-depth guides or to a collection of hi-res level layouts to help break down winning strategies.

There are two maps, and there are up to 80 levels in each map. This guide is not about map records; it is all about level records. For map records, you can refer to Unofficial Leaderboard MAP 1 and Unofficial Leaderboard MAP 2 by swiftfin. Interestingly enough, you may find more variety in level design there.

Standings:
* Advantage over competitors is the gap between a player's level record score and the next best score achieved by any other player. It means how close the challengers are to the leader.

Technical limit is the total score combined of the best individual level scores.

Blue's Tips and General Info states that someone scored 618 on level 70 but I could not find the screenshot.

Best scores on the first map:

Huge credit goes to Satse, manzoh, dank1030, ulino, oneill.jd, Strawberry Jam, hah and ArochanoX.

Most of these levels are redraws and tweaks of Satse's work.

Record solutions that significantly differ from Satse's guide are marked with an asterisk. Level 21 was solved by ArochanoX, and level 4 by Strawberry Jam. The remaining modifications are mine. Some are major tweaks of Satse's layouts (12, 44, 58), some are genuine (22, 35, 39, 60, 80 etc.).

Note that "up and down" trick has been nerfed and those layouts require more concrete if redrawn.

Strawberry Jam designed a record-winning layout for level 4:

ArochanoX was one of the first to score a decent mark on Map 1 here, on Steam, and proposed a unique solution for level 21.

hah held a record score for level 17:

Satse set these records in an era when there was no undo button, meaning every level had to be drawn in a single, flawless attempt. These achievements are a testament to true mastery.

Nowadays, with the introduction of the undo button, anyone has the opportunity to test themselves and see if they can push the score higher.

I focus on basic gameplay only, toll tricks aside.

Best scores on the second map:

If the level number above is clickable, it means this is my original design, except for a few. Levels 21, 62 were inspired by Satse, and 79 by LXiX_VaZe. Full credit for the layout of level 53 goes to Zinul — I only tweaked it to improve flow.

If the level number above is not clickable, it is likely because the layout is obvious (67, 75), or isn't mine (3, 5, 37, 50, 55, 56, 72, etc.), or is still far from final (47), or originated from my work but was finalized by someone else (No. 2 by Satse, No. 10 by Strawberry Jam and NoblesseHaki).

Some screenshots haven't been updated with a recent score if the design itself is still relevant (13, 14, 25, 30, 54, 65, etc.).

History of optimization:
• Evolutionary dead ends: solutions 11, 19, 31, 37, 72, 81 lost competition to more effective designs.
  
• Origins: solutions 2, 10, 14, 27, 34, 39, 51, 76, and 80 were record-winning at one point. Now, new records have been set with their heavily-tweaked offsprings.

kseanor designed genuine layouts and holds records for levels 1 and 4:

Satse has designed and tweaked dozens of layouts. Among Satse's latest designs is level 3, tweaks for levels 2, 40 and others.

Strawberry Jam has tweaked and improved many, many layouts. Among Strawberry Jam's original record-winning designs is the layout for level 5.

NoblesseHaki designed or tweaked record-winning layouts 10, 30, 35, 38, and 45.

Zinul provided community with record-winning ideas for levels 18, 37, 53, 72:

LXiX_VaZe held numerous records for a while, most notably in level 40, and inspired many layouts, including those for levels 4 and 79.

Greta1212 tweaked the layout for level 56.

Okay, maybe it is not as easy now as it was a few months ago. I did my best to make it harder for you. Nevertheless. it is still possible.

Just find the record level layout that looks messy to you. You can probably improve the score. Create your own.

• Check for the largest flows, think, and decide how you want to combine or separate them.
  
• Draft the layout, run a simulation, and observe if the traffic lane separation works as intended.
  
• Once you're satisfied with your draft, take a screenshot of it and draw a clean copy from scratch, using your initial version as a reference. If you're on PC, use a good mouse.

Alternatively, you can redraw another player's solution, trying to recreate a leaner and faster version of it.

Don't hesitate to use the 'undo' button, test and re-test connections in the final stage. Below are two drawings for level 74. The left one scored 842 points, the right one scored 860 points. Can you spot the difference? It's very subtle.
