F-35C Lightning II

IMPORTANT: Please Read.

CREDITS: This model has been adapted from a SketchFab model by bohmerang. You can view the original in the images above.

And a Big Thank You to Misaka for the excellent GBU-39 model with the BRU-61A launcher. The external pylons are also part of the F-18 model by Misaka.

LOCATION: You can find this model in the encyclopedia under Aircraft > Fighter > F-35C. Make sure you select this mod in your list before you go to the encyclopedia. If you need help placing this aircraft into a ship or airbase, let me know. It is an easy edit in your own files.

MOD:
1. This has been adapted from a 3D model and has been resized to match the F-35C version with Tail Hook.
2. As I can't modify the 3D model, the following features are not available in this release - It doesn't affect game play;
- Bomb bays do not open, however weapons are stored inside.
- The flaps / fins / stabilisers are fixed in place - In a future version I will fix this. The flight characteristics are still accurate though.
- The Cockpit Canopy does not open. It is closed from taxi to take off and back again.
- The external pylons are borrowed from Misaka's excellent F-18E model. They have the same outward angle as a result.
- The model features gear down with gear bays open, and gear up with bays closed. The transition is ugly though, so I have made it an instant transition. If you are wanting to see a smooth gear up / down, this is not available in this release.
3. As this is my first aircraft model some users have experienced an all-white air frame when it loads. Please let me know if you experience this and I will try to fix it.
4. I have designed my own JSOW for this mod. I hope you enjoy it. I have been asked to also turn the same model into the LRASM. I am going to work on this soon.

SQUADRONS:
I have basically left the skin blank without national markings, except the RAAF Squadron. I have created 1x Squadron for each of the current F-35 users - Some are not F-35C users, however this is just a game, so enjoy.

Some of the below loadouts are not realistic, but make the game play fun. I am aware that the F-35C does not use the AIM-174 for example.
