F-84G Thunderjet RDAF

The first Thunderjets (6 F-84Es) were handed over to the Danish Air Force on 28.8.1951. From April 1952 onwards, a total of 100 F-84Gs arrived by sea - and later in 1952-53, 37 Thunderjets were flown by American pilots via Greenland and Iceland to Denmark. Finally, the Danish Air Force received 20 replacement aircraft in 1955 and later from the Netherlands and Belgium approximately 80 aircraft. - A total of 239 aircraft were delivered as weapons aid from the USA.


De første Thunderjet (6 stk. F-84E) blev overdraget til Flyvevåbnet 28.8.1951 Herefter ankom der fra april 1952 i alt 100 F-84G ad søvejen - og senere i 1952-53 blev 37 stk. Thunderjet fløjet af amerikanske piloter via Grønland og Island til Danmark. Endelig modtog flyvevåbnet i 1955 20 erstatningsfly og senere fra Holland og Belgien ca. 80 fly. - l alt 239 fly blev leveret som våbenhjælp fra USA.

Runway takeoff: activate booster's halfway down the runway

Hangar takeoff: Activate the booster's 3 seconds after you leave the hangar

Without booster takeoffs: Hit a small hill at the end of the runway


Have atleast a pretty good epxerience with Fighters before using this in a MP Dogfight, and train a little with the plane before using it in a dogfight

Do not over do the Yaw or you will end up in a flatspin


Extra funny thing: i visited a Airplane museum in DK, and there was a F84G, :), thats where i got the last details from. (Also got to sit in the cockpit)
