NPC Prop Attacking & Breaching

Update as of 08/30/2025

- Improved prop detection
- added new console command wblnhp_detectonlystaticprops (1 by default), in which it detects only welded and frozen props.
- They are now more aggressive in attacking props so I suggest keeping wblnhp_detectonlystaticprops to 1.
- The new console command will now prevent npcs from randomly attacking loose props

A Simple mod that will make npcs attack props (until it is destroyed) if it is in their way of their actual target. So barricading against npcs can actually be a thing! (Zombie Survival experience in Sandbox :3). Uses Simple Prop Damage - Ultimate Destruction and Destructable Doors

- NPCs will detect props in their way and shoot it, if it is in their way. (If they don't have any other path to you)
- Should work on most HL2 Basic NPCs not just zombies
- Barricade by freezing, weld, nail props and see them try to breach through!
- Should work on doors
- Specific NPC can be Whitelisted/Blacklisted to be affected by the mod
- Config can be accessed at Spawnmenu -> Options -> WeTools -> NPC Prop Attack Options

- Yes and No
- My Mod simply tells npcs to attack the props, and if props dont break it will make them attack it forever.
- So yes if you want all props to break and not make the npc attack a single prop forever.
- And No if by default the props theyll be attacking is already destructible. Or if you want them to play soccer with an indestructible prop, I wouldnt stop you hehe.

- Yes should work on them too, other npc bases might not work but i might add compatibility

- I highly suggest keeping wblnhp_detectonlystaticprops to 1 so they will only target frozen/welded props.
- unless you want them to attack the lose props for fun
