Dummy/Cowitness Backup Iron Sights [1035.1]

描述
This mod reincorporates the existing backup iron sights (KAC Micro & Magpul MBUS) as collision-free options. You can either have folded irons for ultimate drip with any red dot sight (even low rail pistol RDS), or you can utilize any of the front sight options to cowitness with your red dot sight of choice.

The included options are:

- KAC Micro Front (Black)
- KAC Micro Front (FDE)
- KAC Micro Rear (Black)
- KAC Micro Rear (FDE)
- KAC Micro Front (Black/Folded)
- KAC Micro Front (FDE/Folded)
- KAC Micro Rear (Black/Folded)
- KAC Micro Rear (FDE/Folded)
- MBUS Front (Black)
- MBUS Front (FDE)
- MBUS Rear (Black)
- MBUS Rear (FDE)
- MBUS Front (Black/Folded)
- MBUS Front (FDE/Folded)
- MBUS Rear (Black/Folded)
- MBUS Rear (FDE/Folded)

If you do decide to cowitness your sights, I suggest only leaving the front sight up and the rear folded. The way that the game aligns your line of sight with a red dot sight is that it tilts the gun slightly, and this makes the rear sight not line up.

I didn't test them with everything, so let me know if any issues pop up.

Updated to 1035.1. Switched to skin system and suddenly remembered that I could use the base game textures instead. As a result, the mod is much smaller and there's a lot less clutter!

They work with risers you can see under now! Disregard the previous comments by me!

Well, actually, if you try to use a riser that lets you see under it, then any accessory between the front and rear sight block those sights. I'll try to figure something else out. Every other configuration should be fine, though.

No problem! I think it's fixed. However, because the devs changed how sight rails work, I had to give all of the folded versions a "sight," too. This is fine when you have a solid red dot or scope between them, but if you use a riser that lets you see under it, then you'll have a very weird set of iron sights when you scroll wheel while aiming. I'm hoping the devs fix the sight rail problem so I can revert this less-than-ideal Band-aid fix. 😅
