描述
Stromson Prime

Background:
A small selection of TRCC class submarines were chosen to undergo the process of lengthening as well as a complete systems overhaul. Once the Stromson, The Stromson Prime now possesses an additional 5 turrets, two recon shuttles, and overall outperforms its previous state.

Stats:
Price: 22000 marks
Class: Attack
Tier: 3
Crew size: 2-6
Guns: 12
Top speed: 48 kph

Features:
- Backup engine that can be toggles via switch in case of a primary engine failure.
- Moonpool positioned at the bottom of the vessel for diving operations.
- Reactor detonation system, which can be activated by typing "yes" and "2788" into the command terminal
- Ship-wide alarm system to alert the crew of any intruders or general emergencies.
- Discharge coils for close encounters
- Three depth charge tubes located on the underside of the vessel
- Ship-wide camera system on the interior and exterior
- Fire and flood alert system to inform crew of fires and flooding
- Motion detectors positioned around to alert crew of approaching threats
- Airlock positioned at the top of the vessel
- Prison cell for holding dangerous individuals

New Features:
- Two shuttles useful for reconnaissance, boarding, or a third more violent option
- New auto reactor with adjustable power output (recommended setting of 100% or lower)
- Updated screen interfaces
- New rooms: crew lounge, passenger cabin, security office, and meeting room

Credits:
The Stromson Prime uses multiple other workshop items in its design, including:
-Random number generator by Fatal_Foxtrot252
-Security cameras by BoomMicGuy
-Nuclear detonation command by Datda
-Advanced airlock by zuff

Notes:
- Set the shuttles to charging mode when inactive using the switch located in the shuttle
- This sub is performance heavy, you may need to turn down your graphical settings

This sub is slightly messy under the hood, I am expecting some issues to be brought up so please let me know if there are any issues with sprite depth, gaps, hulls, wiring or anything else, I would appreciate it. I will continue to update this sub with new fixes and features in the near future

A recommendation for the directional switchable periscopes, There should at least be a light up directional system to aid in determining which side is active, instead of a lot of guessing until your on the correct side. a simple 4 light components on a small ship graphic indicating active guns will suffice. Perhaps moving the switchable turrets buttons onto the sides of the periscopes to lower switch time and the indicator can go on that monitor the buttons used to be?

Ah, and bots are not able to navigate into and repair the shuttles.

What a masterpiece of art this is, well done.

Side note the top right gun seems to have something blocking it when you shoot straight up.

If you're using the typical 5 component control, you can just expose the memory cell to adjust values by the player as they buy upgrades.

We had the reactor values turned down to 50% to get it to work as expected - but we did that after it caught on fire.

Then we plowed into an ice spike at 70kph and went pop because the diving suit storage was already fully flooded.

Not knocking the sub as such - it's a work of art.

↳ Mordgier: I'll see what I do to fix all that, I definitely didn't expect everything to work as intended and the upgrades were a complete oversight on my part.

Reactor automation tends to produce more power than load by a factor of 2. Guessing your reactor control is based on max power values and campaign upgrades hinder that from working right.

2 bottom pulse laser turrets are controlled by the same periscope which makes the back one hit off target.

The top speed is absurd with maxed campaign upgrades, and paired with the low sink and rise rate it makes the handling of the ship feel rather awkward.

With the high speed and poor depth control it's very easy to hit ice spikes and break the entire front of the sub, this leads to rapid flooding of all 3 levels of the ship.

Very pretty sub though.
