Neurotrauma is a rather brutal mod, but the added complexity to medical systems can be quite welcome to the discerning sailor. Might I recommend something a bit less harsh?

NeuroLite allows for many of the features of Neurotrauma, including cybernetics, organ harvesting, medicine overhauls, new drugs and so on, but it also expands on some of those features. You can make a placeable healing pod that's better than a bed and avoids needing to spend meds on those minor injuries that are giving you OCD. You can make a stasis diving suit that might preserve your life if you go into critical condition out in the open ocean.

Most importantly, most afflictions can be treated with either casual options (like applying medicine in the health panel) or extreme options (like surgery). Casual options improve the accessibility of the mod, as you just need to figure out which meds treat what affliction, which isn't all too hard as it's spelled out for you.

Be warned: if you use Lua, fall damage is enabled. (You won't die from falling down the stairs, however. It just makes really tall maps more interesting.)

This mod also adds a number of *fun* extra features such as implanting bombs in your fellow crew and detonating them remotely.

Will work fine if added to an existing save. Probably won't break too much if removed either.

Doesn't override human.xml so it should be compatible with both mods. Don't expect it to work with Neurotrauma content though.

Most injuries can be healed by bots, with the exception of internal / hidden damages.

okay, so there is a weird thing i found. on the human spritesheet, there are sprites for cybernetic and severed limbs, but they never appear ingame. is this an issue on my side or a bug?

Barocode unfortunately has its limitations, the different implant channels have to apply a named affliction that each trigger checks for depending on its "channel". There's not actually a wifi channel involved

I might be able to do something similar and let you swap between channels, though I doubt this alleviates the random crewmate blowing up your hostages problem, and the implants would always have fixed channels that have to be set in stone by the mod so the amount of channels you get to choose from are quite limited anyway

so wouldnt it be better to instead form them into one wifi detonator / trigger? like instead of having a det/trigger for each channel, why not have the wifi component UI pop up on the bomb so you can type in a channel of your choosing, and then when its sown up, have the wifi UI pop up on the detonator (or whichever one is the one you hold in your hand) and only make it detonate the bomb if its channel matches? or is it a code problem?
