Halo 2 Campaign: Retribution

Quite basic, but really fun !

INCREDIBLY FUN

Very pretty-gorgeous actually-with interesting geography, and great use of audio and cinematics, but the level feels too easy to beat. There's nothing stopping the player from skipping past a-lot of the fights. player will rarely have to engage with the beautiful geography since they are so powerful they can smash through the AI. Jackal snipers DO-NOT one-shot on legendary which is nice. This level is massive, and some edits to geography/increased competence of AI could easily stretch this out to 45+ minutes. The friendly AI fails to assist the player at the beginning and don't follow the player at times. The enemy AI feels like they are placed in random areas, and not like they are guarding anything or actively trying to kill the player. That said, this is far above what I can make in the editor is extremely impressive that incorporated every aspect of the game's engine. I can't imagine the amount of work that went into making this. its definitely not perfect, but its pretty neat.

Hold on I loved this, it was fun simple well placed encounters and for it being your first custom campaign level it was great! hope to see more!

one of the better custom campaign missions i have played so far, really liked the stuff from combat evolved, the prophet at the end just accepted his fate (i know that it probably wasn't intended to be like that, but i found it funny) xD

Marines don't do anything outside of the starting guys that get in your Warthog though the extras don't follow in the second Warthog, and the ODSTs later don't do anything once they get on the tank. The Prophet just floats there and takes it, which I didn't mind after slogging through the army of Honor Guards. Was a decent experience for a first mod.

Fun little mission! Really liked the outdoor areas and the clever use of ingame lines. Hope to see more H2 campaign mods like these from you!
