Antistasi Half Life - Ultimate

From an inexperienced person who spent what free time he had to muck about, I give you Antistasi - Half Life, Ultimate Edition.

So what does this Mod do?

Essentially this is a rerelease of my other mod, Antistasi Half Life, to be properly compatible as an extension for Antistasi Ultimate. Features include the incorporation of Synths like the Strider and Hunter to spawn in the place of certain vehicles, the random possibility of Xenians to spawn around Cities and Settlements, Headcrab pods being used prior to QRFs and Counterattacks, and of course, additional factions were added as well!

Additionally, this will give me more excuses for friends to get back on Arma... ideally.

Thus far there is compatability for Vanilla, CUP, and RHS.

The Main Factions:

Lambda - The Playable/Resistance Faction. Also an option for Rivals AND Occupants as well.

The most famous of Rebel cells, Lambda traces its origins back all the way to the Black Mesa Incident, having always fought for humanity's survival even in the beginning. Now, however, their influence must expand beyond City 17, thus leading to you and your allies to act in their name. In addition to the beginning weapons, your starting arsenal includes melee options and some choices of sidearms from the HL2 Mods. The buggy, armed buggy, and muscle car were added as well.

The Combine/CMB - The Occupation/BLUFOR Faction. Also an optional Civil Protection Player/Rebel faction.

The CMB, or colloquially known as the Combine, conquered Earth in a mere Seven Hours, leaving behind a token garrison consisting of Synthetic war machines, Transhumanized soldiers of Overwatch's Transhuman Arm, and volunteer enforcers organized under Civil Protection. These forces use a mix of Pre-War vehicles and arms as necessary, but the bulk of the Transhuman Arm use Pulse weapons. While initially their forces are rather traditional in nature, with Civil Protection using mainly Pre-War technology, once they wake up in force the Combine have no qualms about fielding their more advanced weaponry and soldiers.

The Conscripts/OCA - The Invader/OPFOR Faction

The Overwatch Conscript Arm, or the OCA for short. In the aftermath of the 7 Hour War, the remnants of Earth's militaries were forcefully conscripted to serve their new rulers, being forced to solely rely on Pre-War arms and technology. However, their loyalty is questionable at best, given they were expected to serve as cannon fodder for Civil Protection and the Transhuman Arm...

Random FAQ

Will you be updating this?
- I'll try to at least! There's plenty I want to do, but admittedly, I'm a one man team and I truthfully have very little experience when it comes to coding, but I'll do what I can!

Why are the Combine using regular vehicles and weapons at all?
- Because they weren't adverse to such in the HL2 Beta nor HL2's actual release, given that H&K in there well... sold out to them. Also more importantly - for gameplay variety and functionality. If I were to use the HL2 vehicles that were out there at present, they'd never be able to send in reinforcements via aircraft, every Combine ground vehicle would be the same, etc.

Welp... that was a bit of a mess for the past few months... apologies for going silent for all that time. Hopefully... I can work on this more now that things are calming down somewhat.

@Cmole Alas, I really really wanted to do this for a long time but asaik Antistasi Ultimate still isn't capable of that as a lot of faction code revolves around vehicles. I don't think there's even a Flood faction for the Halo version of AU iirc. If there is a workaround though, I'll see what I can do!

Hey! Thanks for this great mod, big fan of half-life series ^^

Any chance you might do zombie faction for occupiers or attackers? Would be nice "little" spice up for normal antistasi. Webknight zombie mod has common ones and special infected, which some of them are capable of taking down vehicles of all kinds: Cars, APCs, Tanks, Aircraft. Would be a nice little uncommon faction to fight against with all those mutants and zombies, a bit of horror scene for antistasi.

I just read about on the other release of yours that you really dont know anything about arma coding and you were just fiddling with antistasi codes. I have to look it up too if it could be possible but I have no idea how the spawns, attacks and such operate. I probably cannot do this with just changing the classes as you did with striders n such... ^^

Yes, but don't worry, once a town supports you then civilians will spawn.
