"Oh man! This is just like 2006!" -Really Cool Beta Louis
I've always loved the beta screenshots, especially the ones that showed No Mercy with a starry dark blue sky. Using my photoshop skills, I was able to make something I'd consider to be fairly close to the original! It even uses real beta star particles on majority of the levels!

The "required items" are not required, but highly recommended to make sure the skybox looks as pretty as can be. Any shader setting under high will also result in the skybox being a bit dim.

Local hosting only for this mod! No online!

Real Beta Stars: ChimiChamo wrote the script to restore the star particles, I simply added a little code that removed skybox fog because it's ugly and hides the skybox.

what's that pistol? it looks like a silver version of the L4D1 pistol with a black grip. unless that's just the lighting making it look like that

It's actually a different moon from the 06 version it's like a retail moon with a blue tint it looks really good

Hillview I’m pretty sure uses the regular moon and changes the vmt to make it more blue? I could always just edit the 2006 to be more blue

Why don't you just use the moon used in Hillview rapture it fits very well and they use the same skybox as well

My mod removes the moon mainly because the skybox already had one, so if I left the moon in there would be two moons. I might go back to this one and add it myself like I did with Death Toll (still being updated, im not entirely happy with that ones color yet) so it can be more accurate.

Stupid question, does this have the 2006 moon included in the skybox? Or does it conflict with the mod that readds the 2006 moon
