Player DLC: Class 52

By 1965 all of the Western Region’s hydraulics had been constructed: Class 14, Class 42 & Class 52 at Swindon Works, and Class 35 Hymeks constructed by Beyer Peacock. They changed to BR blue at the end of the 1960’s.

During this hazy summer midday in the late 1960’s: You will wait for a red signal to change, go to Reading, then non-stop to Didcot.

You do NOT need Southampton-Salisbury Extension

Route: Great Western Mainline to Swindon in the BR Blue Period (Workshop by Martin Freeman)

Scenario: Standard

The last time I was in the UK (2010 in summer), I had 14 days of 35c. I went for a walk each day at 5am (in bright sunlight) and stayed doing things until 10:30pm and it was still 30c. Unbelievable. After one day with my mother (out all day), we both got heatstroke!
Green parks changed to a dry yellow with black marks everywhere from portable BBQ aluminium packs (which were then banned to avoid grass fires!)
