Mist Hunt

So the peasants of Mongrel will pay good cats for evidence of Fogmen, but nothing for the even more elusive Mist Ghouls? Ridiculous.


What This Vanilla-Friendly Mod Does

  • Adds Death Items to each type of Mist Ghoul for redemption in Mongrel
  • Adds custom inventory icons for each type of Mist Ghoul Head
  • What's Left of the Mist Ghoul Squad -> adds a new Game Start featuring a injured Mist Ghoul Headhunting Squad in Mongrel, including "World's Best Headhunter" boss, the annoying Assistant to the Regional Headhunter, and a randomized amount of lower level followers with injuries. None of the custom equipment or recruit levels are high or over-powered. Just a bit of fun that may or may not be inspired by a certain Regional Paper Company.

I might try my hand at making the Regional Mist Ghoul Headhunting Squad recruits in Mongrel, if I can figure it out.

I'm still pretty new at all this so feel free to comment feedback or hell even words of encouragement.

Who is the right person who is supposed to pay more for the heads? I've been all over Mongrel and can't find who it is.

Yes Dr Igor has a mod to make mist ghouls compatible with UWE

I've had some issues with recruits not spawning where I need them to, but you might be able to repurpose the cannibal-hunting dialogue package to get the characters to "hunt for mist ghouls". when you add the people to the "characters" list make sure you add them to the "Spawn area" section or they won't spawn :) :beeped::cactusrum:

I welcome all dialogue advice, Pico. I still need to do the tutorial boron mod that Dr. Igor reco'd, but will hopefully get to it this weekend
