Longyearbyen - North Atlantic Fishing Trawler

After you start the ship and get to a desired fishing spot:

-Unlock the booms by turning the key "Unlock Booms".
-Get the trawler booms in position by holding "Starboard Boom OUT" & "Port Boom OUT" (keep holding until they fold down - if stuck, try loosening the otterboards by holding "Otterboards OUT".)
-After the booms are in position, let the otterboards out by pressing "Otterboards OUT" until the "Cable Length" gets between 60-90. Adjust it as you wish.
-After otterboards are a bit behind you (15+ meters), start extending the nets.
-Lastly, to unload all the fish to your hoppers, pull everything in and lift the booms again. Don't lock them, instead now use the "Tilt Booms On Hoppers" to get your nets right on top of the hoppers and let the fishes drop by holding "Release Catch".

Note: if nets get tangled just pull everything in then extend it again.




-To sell fish, head to any fish gantry.
-Use your remote controller (located next to the boom/net controls) and switch frequency on the instrument panel to "4" to control the fish gantry via radio.
-Controller's channel doesn't matter.

Longyearbyen is a tribute to British Hull's sidewinder trawlers & the arctic series trawlers such as Arctic Corsair, Arctic Cavalier, Princess Elizabeth, Bombardier & more. The last survivor of these tough ocean-going Sidewinder trawlers is the Arctic Corsair, worked until 1993, currently undergoing restoration and set to become a museum ship.
