Neat Storage
· Safe to add to a save game

Add 24 types of furniture for neat storage
I got tired of having 300 shelves with the same design.
I wanted furniture that could neatly display items
without hiding any, so I created this mod.

These pieces of furniture function the same way as vanilla shelves,
and for versatility, most of them can hold various types of items.

Q: How performance friendly is this mod?
A: Very. We made sure to make the framework as performance friendly as possible so it shouldn’t affect your gameplay. The result of the framework's custom rendering and various caches should even be improved performance over using plain vanilla shelves without any additional mods

Since I don’t play in English, I’m not entirely sure what the question means. If I had to guess, if they want to move finished items directly into a crate from a bill, there is the following method.

Select the Crate, click Rename, set a name, and then it will become selectable in the bill settings.

@Omoe Some mods that replace hauling methods, like at least while you're up and some of the stack size limiters, can't handle reductions to storage capacities while still having more items than the new limit allows inside. Dropping items manually from the contents tab or removing those mods would fix that

Got a rather specific issue with the mod: I edited the maxItemsInCell value for the Meat Hook from 6 (12 total) down to 2(4 total), since I found the 12 capacity to be way more than I find reasonable, and afterwards pawns seemed to get stuck whenever they tried to interact with the meat hook in any way. Any particular cause for this? I only edited the description of the item and the item count, so not sure what's causing them to get stuck.

Strange bug with the mod "Stack Gap" : when both are active the behaviour of the shelves becomes unpredictable (at least i couldn't establish a pattern to explain what was happening), for example the shelves won't fill up more than 2 out of 10 stacks (again, the 2 sometimes is a 1 or a 3). anybody has the same issue ? Adaptative storage frameworks is a life saver but stack gap is also extremely useful to setup small stocking stations near the hospital beds for example...

@bradson I'm using a fork of while you're up which works with PUAH, but nothing modifying stacks except for adaptive storage framework, and I'm using defaults for that.

But as a side question, it is normal that I can't pick a storage place for a destination for a workbench? (only zones / stockpiles are listed)

@Misquoth The official PUAH version by Mehni works without issues on my end. All the forks that have been put on the workshop are unmaintained and probably do have bugs. Unmaintained stack limiting mods like stockpile stack limit commonly cause the issue you're describing
