get the mix boiling and let it bubble at least 40 minutes - yoink a piece of all vegs and taste them - they all should be prepped, if not - wait some more time
it is the stage when you add salt (if the preexisting one in all the cans and meats was not enough) and maybe more spices like generic soup spice mix, or some more pepper (I usually add smoked red pepper)
let the spices to boil in for like 5-10 minutes
add a can of tomato/bbq sause beans, a can of black olives, a full cut lemon (throw away the seeds), a handful of pickled cucumbers and couple handfuls of pumpkin (cut to the size of beans/half olives)
at this point it should resemble some very thick soup, if it looks more like salad, add some water or boullion/stock (cube dissolved one works too, I usually have some basic chicken stock in the fridge, so I add that)
cut some tasty sausages into the mix for more meatyness
