Canadian Occupational Patches

描述
Canadian Armed Forces Occupational Patches

The patches contained in this pack are modelled after a small selection of trade, occupation and qualification patches worn by Canadian Soldiers primarily, but also Sailors and Aviators in some cases.

Please note that I have done my best to provide accurate descriptions of each patch's meaning, but I may have made mistakes throughout.

The images I used to edit into files usable in Ground Branch came from CPGear.[cpgear.com]

Clearance Diver (dive helmet with crown, dolphins and tridents)
Clearance Divers are qualified specialists in diving and explosive ordnance disposal.

Communications and Electronics Branch Flag (grey and blue rectangle)
The CAF's C&E Branch encompasses certain signals trades from the Army, Navy and Air Force.

Cyber (CYBER)
I don't know much about this patch, nor can I find much information on it, but my understanding is that individuals who wear this patch are trained in some form of cyber operations. Go figure.

Heliborne Air Assault (helicopter with dagger and wings)
Individuals qualified in Heliborne Air Assault specialize in using helicopter assets to engage and destroy enemy forces and secure ground terrain.

Helicopter Insertion Master (helicopter with dagger, wings and maple leaf)
Qualified Heliborne Insertion Masters are experienced in rappelling, low hover insertion and extraction techniques, and helo-casting.

Joint Terminal Attack Controller (JTAC)
JTACs are experts in calling for aircraft fire support from forward positions on the battlefield.

Military Police (MP)
Military Police "enforce laws and regulations on CAF establishments in Canada and abroad" (Canadian Armed Forces website[forces.ca]).

Reconnaissance (RECCE)
Recce-qualified individuals are able to stealthily observe and record information on enemy activity, terrain and other pertinent considerations in an area of operation.

Canadian Parachutist (maple leaf with wings and parachute)
Parachutist patches with a red maple leaf indicate the wearer is a qualified parachutist, whereas a patch with a white maple leaf indicates that they are also part of a parachutist company within a unit.

Tactical Combat Casualty Care (TCCC)
TCCC, often spoken as "T-triple-C," is the practice of administering first aid to a combat casualty while under fire.
