BACKGROUND
The ALTA OilSub, designed and built exclusively for ALTA Industrial Corp., is a state-of-the-art 47-meter submarine engineered for underwater oil drilling. Its unique capability to tilt downward by 90 degrees allows precise and efficient drilling in challenging underwater environments. The OilSub features open crew quarters, fostering a collaborative and functional living space for the team. Equipped with an automated digital oil rod system and a steam generator, it streamlines the drilling process while ensuring consistent power generation. Designed for efficiency and endurance, the OilSub represents a significant advancement in underwater resource extraction, enabling ALTA to push the boundaries of marine drilling operations.

INSTRUCTIONS
  • Turn the engine and systems start key at the helm. Wait for the generator to start before use.
  • This sub is still mostly manually operated for establishing drill site. Please take a minute to explore the sub and familiarize yourself with the buttons prior to operating the Submarine. No auto pilot or auto drilling features.
  • Refer to UOS213K "Oil Spear" for full instructions on how to Operate, Drill and Strike Oil

This is great, however I am unable to retract the last rod. It appears the end of the rod gets stuck it the rotary table. Is there a way to manually disconnect the rotary table clamp?

The Rod Retraction isn't working properly. Once I've completed the drilling process and attempt to bring the rods back up, it's as if the rods are jammed in the ground and refuse to come up no matter how I use the Joint clamp. I can raise both it or the rods that the clamp is connected to, but neither of them seem to bring the rods up. Is there a troubleshoot to this?
