Servants of the Land - Simple Empire Foot Knights

I’ve always wanted some top tier infantry for the Empire but while there are many mods out there that do this they either fall into two camps, uncapped knights, or underpowered state troops upgrades. So I’ve decided to make my own mod that creates a unique experience by capping foot knights to prevent power creep and for historical friendliness as well as being generic enough knights to not step on the toes of other knightly mods.

This mod adds 3 new units and 3 Regiments of Renown to the Empire. These knights are designed to go toe to toe with chosen but for balancing and so they do not completely replace the use of state troops they are capped. The Servant Knights are trained at the Menagerie (cap 7) and Castle Reiksguard (cap 5) with tier 5 settlements increasing the cap further by 5.

The knights are named after the Landsknecht which some interpretations translate the name to “Servants of the Land” which is where I got the name Servant Knights from, along with the floppy hat imagery.

All units have been tuned to technology and lord buffs.
