Load Bearing Equipment [41/42]

描述
Load Bearing Equipment:

BUILD 42:
This item increases your total carrying capacity by two (with one exception as your strength levels).
The LBE also gives you a webbing slot (meant for angled flashlights) and a walkie-talkie slot, on top of your two belt slots.

Requires level 2 Tailoring.
Recipe:
Needle
Awl
4 Units of thread
4 Leather strips
2 Buckles
And a belt

BUILD 41:
(I only brought it down to 41 for my server, but maybe others will find use for it until 42 becomes MP)

This item still does the same thing. The webbing slot was left as-is, which I believe AuthenticZ+ may add some functionality to.

Recipe:
Needle
5 Units of thread
(Pause to open the recipe script)
5 Leatherstrips
4 Scrap metal
And a belt

Slight disparity in recipes is due to lack of Awl and buckles. Honestly, this thing seems pretty powerful for such an easy recipe.

Allegedly Fixed:
Items SHOULD now place properly on your chest (walkie & angled flash light). I did extensively minimal testing in 41 with a walkie.

Known issues:
Ripping up the item returns two buckles, but only one leather strip, and for some reason a single denim strip.

Mod incomp:
More Traits - Specifically with the Pack mule (and probably Pack mouse) trait. Need to add a check, import, and adjustment to the math if their mod is present.

Workshop ID: 3391290259
Mod ID: LoadBearingEquipment

Great to see these spawning "correct" like Construction/First Responders, might be cool to adjust drop rates. This mod is so great, had it for so long already with zero issues!

Just wanted to drop a note about the mod labeling, the b42 tag isn't on here.

For B41, ofc

Besides AuthenticZ+, what other mods would have angled flashlight that work with the webbing slot?

great little piece of kit, was very excited to find the first one I found, helps a lot with early game looting and getting just a bit more carry capacity. However, now I am finding LBE on a LOT of zombies, like I have 30 of them in my base with ~500 kills. Not sure if perhaps there could be an option to remove from zombie loot as it's craftable; or at least a sandbox option to reduce the rate of spawn. Great mod, thanks!

it seems the model by the feet bug is also causing things like the tactical sheaths mod to have the same effect. my knife appears between the feet. I wonder if it's a mod conflict causing both of the issues

Found a similar issue as sonstk01, when hanging the angle-head flashlight on the LBE, it shows up between the feet rather than attached to the LBE

the walky talky slot is bugged, it place the walky talky at the ground not on the model

Twice the total load capacity is really not enough and it would be nice if there were other staging options.
For example: 10, 20, 30.

Hello, thank you for that must have mod.

Incompatibility :

in case people use that [B42]Wallet fix mod, put Wallet Fix AFTER/BELOW LBE in load order or the recipe to dismantle wallet form Wallet Fix disappears.

@o..o Somewhat... Think of them as Tactical Suspenders. They basically hold your pants up better so loading your pockets won't make them slide off your butt. The difference with an Alice ruck is that the ruck frame hangs from your shoulders and sits on your lower back, which is pretty amazing for carrying heavy things on your back, but has no influence over your cargo pockets. The LBE, in actuality, had a belt (as seen in the picture) which you would hang various things off of, like mag pouches or FAKs, so it put the weight on your shoulders instead of your belt/pants. I just liked the idea of having this replace your belt to give you a larger carrying capacity in your main inventory, since that would be your pant pockets (or if you're not wearing pants, your prison pocket).
