Known Issues:
-College of Magic UI is bugged but works fine, can't solve it completely due to both using the same UI elements
-Bugged/"ugly" Techtree: Check for other mods editing the techtree or use the compatibility version without the additional techs.
-A few certain items from the College of Magic might be bugged, solutions via console as workaround are in the comments
- Probably not savegame compatible

-IMPORTANT NOTE: Recruit Amethyst Units instantly when available, otherwise they are going to disappear, cost increase however does apply as usual.

For some reason I stopped getting schematics for gunnery school, no clue as to why.

Anyone encountered this?
Anyway to fix?

@Dunestyler: There is a mod that does exactly that, should work for most factions and special mechanics. It has some weird chinese name but seemed to work fine.

Yeah I was trying to apply the mechanics to one of the other empire factions on confederation.
I failed with that, even though it was no problem to apply the effect bundles of the faction traits after confederation.

There's an issue where only specific factions give schematics when fought in battle, as well as the inventory of amethyst units disappearing after a turn if they aren't recruited.

quick question is there any chance that this could be done for other factions? Like Grimgor getting Grom and Gorbad's mechanics or Kislev getting ostankya's? Simply asking because I am unsure if there are already mods for it.

@Wikitiki31 You should also be able to get a passive gain from building Gunnery Buildings. The other part is script based from the original but seemed to work fine for me at least.

@Kitty Tinkles yeah schematics are supposed to build up either when you fight a faction that uses gunpowder OR when you get kills with your own gunpowder units, however it doesn’t seem like that second part is working in this mod. I have a feeling it’s because of the overlaps in schematics and magic books and the game doesn’t like dealing with both of these resources at the same time, but I hope that it’s fixable. Otherwise I might just learn how to use the console and spawn myself a bunch of schematics
