110kV & 22kV Switchyards and Transformer Pack

描述
This pack contains a set of 110kV and 22kV switchyards and transformer substations.

The pack consists of twenty-one buildings.

- 22kV Large AIS switchyard station.
- 22kV Large underground cable AIS switchyard station.
- 22kV Small AIS switchyard station.
- 22kV Small underground cable AIS switchyard station.
- 110kV Large single circuit AIS switchyard station.
- 110kV Large double circuit AIS switchyard station.
- 110kV Large underground cable AIS switchyard station.
- 110kV Small single circuit AIS switchyard station.
- 110kV Small double circuit AIS switchyard station.
- 110kV Small underground cable AIS switchyard station.
- 110kV Single circuit AIS transformer station.
- 110kV Double circuit AIS transformer station.
- 110kV Underground cable AIS transformer station.
- 110kV Single circuit max capacity AIS transformer station.
- 110kV Double Circuit max capacity AIS transformer station.
- 110kV Max capacity underground cable AIS transformer station.
- 110kV Single circuit cable sealing end compound.
- 110kV Double circuit cable sealing end compound.
- 110kV Single phase cable sealing end compound. (Added in 1.1 update)
- 110kV Quadruple circuit cable sealing end compound. (Added in 1.1 update)
- 110kV Quadruple circuit max capacity AIS transformer station. (Added in 1.1 update)

WARNING! The 14MW and 6MW wires are incompatible for the Cable Sealing End Compounds and Overhead Input Substations, If you would like to use the 14MW or 6MW to connect to your switchyards & transformer stations, then use the cable end Add-On to build a cable sealing end and then use an underground cable input switchyard or transformer station to connect the two buildings.

You can find the Add-On here: https://psteamcommunity.yuanyoumao.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3383079873

I worked with standard high-voltage swithches and priority swithces, and somewhat enlarged versions of them. It did work fine with them too.

The 19 MW limit isn't hardcoded. Check this mod.

I was hoping someone would have made real mod of it since I played a year ago, but it seems not. I failed to create a mod by then, even though I got it working when I edited the game files directly. I might give it a new try some day. But I haven't much time, and I find it hard to create mods in this game.

No you are absolutely true, this 19MW limit is applied from the game which is a bit surprising to me. Let's see if the game author can do something about this cause I see so many moders including you, building these visually appealing models without being able to add that extra MW we really need.

@Korovo I am planning an Early Start/Pioneer substation pack in the future too which will allow you to get started, especially in Realistic Mode.

@Korovo The motivation is for a more interactive substation pack as well as the resource cost being high as substations in real life require a lot of resources to construct. The 19MW is a coded limit for Switches & Substations which may be hardcoded or not, If I can find a way around it, this will give me more ability to make proper transmission assets for a 110kV national grid. The resource cost of vanilla substations are unrealistic as well as their design, The large footprint is also intentional as these are Air Insulated Switchgear Technology.

There are plans this year to add a Gas Insulated Switchgear Switchyards & Substations pack which are designed to be compact and be almost similar sizes to vanilla Switches & Transformers. The biggest trade-off with them will be their excessive Electric Components cost which will be 5x more demanding than their Air Insulated Switchgear counterparts.

This takes 10 times space and resources as the games original switch, has almost the same amount of outputs and is only 19MW. Whats the motivation to build this mod?

Thanks.

@potski If you click on any electrical building, it will show you what voltage the building is operating at. If there is no Power Input/Output, then it will be 230V. If it has a Medium Voltage Input/Output, then it will be 22kV. If it has a High Voltage Input/Output, then it will be 110kV. I hope this helps! :steamhappy:

Looks great! The game doesn't refer to 22kV and 110KV, but to Medium-voltage and High-voltage. It might be better to describe the connections that way for anyone who doesn't know what the numbers mean.

@Rob So switchyard stations are a hub where multiple High Voltage or Medium Voltage lines begin and end at, each one, small or large have variants that are for single and double circuit Overhead Lines, Medium Voltage shares circuit types in the same overhead buildings however and then there is a variant for Underground Cables. If you want all of your connecting lines overhead, then you choose an overhead one. The same rule applies to transformer stations however the medium voltage inputs/outputs will follow the same circuit rules as it's respective switchyard stations. Transformer stations are used to lower the voltage from 110kV to 22kV or increase the voltage from 22kV to 110kV. Cable Sealing End Compounds are tiny buildings designed to transition an Overhead Line to an Underground Cable, this pack contains only High Voltage ones currently and there is a plan to add more content in this mod at a later date. I hope this helps! :)
