The year is 1051. It is an Age of Total War!

11th century Europe emerges fractured from the chaos of the 9th and 10th centuries. Kings rule in name only and christendom is torn apart by strife among petty lords.

In France and Italy, the Normans stand poised to lay claim to what they want.



Byzantine and German Emperors both vie for power while accusing the other of heresy.



And from the deserts of Africa we hear rumor of the fanatical legions of the Almoravids, who seek to bring holy war to Spain like an unquenchable fire.

Welcome to Anno Domini: 1051

This mod is a beta release overhaul of the TW Attila Age of Charlemagne DLC Campaign. The overhaul centers around Europe in the pivotal mid 11th century. Will you forge kingdoms that will one day become modern europe or will you change history and create a new world?

Mod Features
  1. Brand new total historical campaign, battle and gameplay overhaul recreating the 11th century
  2. All campaign settlements have been overhauled with proper 11th century romanesque architecture and castles
  3. Role play with a cast of historical larger than life characters and their houses from the 11th century
  4. Command brand new meticulously modeled units, accurately representing the arms, armor, and clothing of diverse cultures
  5. Custom lighting system that improves and optimizes visuals. With this addition, there's no need for external reshade programs
  6. Custom 2d art including faction flags, unit cards and unit standards
  7. This is only the first release of many that we have planned. You can expect updates and improvements over the next couple months in addition to some big content releases. Our goal is to turn out a series of definitive and fully polished early medieval total overhauls.

  2. Scripts and missions including Almoravid and Byzantine invasions and the invasion of 1066

  8. Fix all bugs, balance issues and glitches found with your play testing

Installation
In order to properly use the mod follow the installation instructions.
  1. Subscribe to this mod
  2. Subscribe to Anno Domini 1051 Part II and Part III and ensure they are enabled in that order
  3. Your Attila game language should be changed to English to ensure functionality, if game language is different it will conflict with the mod.
  4. Enable all 3 mods in the mod manager
  5. Make sure no other conflicting mods are enabled (can use camera mods)
  6. Start the game

Troubleshooter
  • If your mod is not working for any reason try either restarting the game or resubscribing to the mod, this fixes most issues.
  • Double check your installation process, lots of times people overlook an enabled mod or didnt subscribe properly.
  • If these fixes dont solve your issue please report the bug on our discord.

Adding in Norse updated faction roster and units, still kinda wip and Im getting a crash for some of the new units but have today off from work and will sort it

ive installed both the game and mod again and it still the same, tried to start the save a couple of times but still CTD when i press next turn.

the game is alwats crashing back to desktop at year 1063, always on the normandy campaign.

The reach for the archers are very very short in this game, any way too change that?

Might look into making other factions playable later down the line (including byzantines), still getting base rosters set up rn

UI is very wip for this mod rn, plan is to polish that up once we get unit models imported
