Iranian Intermezzo in 821 AD

Mod is 1.14+ compatible, as long as Paradox do not remove the base event from game files
Official Paradox Rules, but with a trigger 821 AD instead of game start in 867 AD

This mod trigger the Irannian Intermezzo in 821 AD, without any consideration about the date you started the game. There is some rules in place in the base game, like "Is there a Sunni Caliphate", otherwise, no struggle.

The mod do not modify game files, it's a yearly check that trigger the same "official" Paradox struggle.

This mod is save game compatible (prior to 867 AD), compatible with 1.14 and should be ironman/achievement compatible.

The mod will only be effective if you play a bookmark prior to 800 AD, it's possible with

Load order should'nt matter since I did not modify original game files and I use an event which is still in the base game files at the moment (nov 18 2024).

Since the struggle is in the base game, there is also no need for additionnal translation. But you need to have the flavor pack.

its useless to download this mod if you start with a 867 AD bookmark or later

Paradox only trigger the struggle if you start with a 867+ bookmark. If you want to play the struggle with a modded bookmark prior to 867 AD, you will not have the struggle.

The mod simply launch the same struggle event as the base game, but instead of checking your game start date, it simply check if the current date is between 821 AD and 867 AD. So the struggle should fire even if you start a game between these dates.
