Have you ever wanted to see Hunter from Episode 2 in better shape? You ever wanted to imagine what it would've looked like if it was just a bit more modern? Well here you go, a model, made with love (and pain actually), uploaded everyone to see!

This addon contains:


⦾ Better Model
(Now many of the previously fake 3d bumps are actually 3D geometry now!)



⦾ Better Textures
(Every texture is now 4K! Every. Every. every. It also has more dirt and blood on it... yay? And it also reuses cool parts from beta texture variant (CMB logo on armor)



⦾ Better Normal Maps
(Now it feels like it is an actual skin and it's armor now feels more like an chitine instead of... who knows what it was before lol.)



⦾ Better Shading
(Now model is using more of a """modern""" technologies Source 1 engine can allow!)




--------====⦾⦾⦾ADDITIONAL FEATURES⦾⦾⦾====--------

⦾Added some nice accessories to Hunter's body. Those are toggleable though, so you can remove them if you wish to.



⦾Added those metal disks on "eyes" because they look cool (they are also animated btw!)



⦾Added light to the antenna



⦾Added multiple skin variations for glowing parts (for posing purposes mostly)
0 - regular behavior (glows when alive and doesn't glows when dead
1 - always on
2 - always off



⦾ And as a bonus I updated flechette's textures!

why does this look like a half-life-alyx version of the hunter, also amazing job on remaking the hunter model.

Looks great in tandem with Groundwatch and Improved Hunter FX
*the only problem I get is that the antenna spins in a bunch of random directions, doesn't do anything annoying.

@dvi The hunter claws on its bottom can't be manipulated or extended to full length and it's bend shapekeys at the place of the joints is really strange, check em out. Might be a cool little detail to make a revision on it

@DVI the two mini claws down there thats been used to harm Alyx Vance. seems like a portion of it doesn't extend like it supposed to
