WARNEXT is a modding project for WARNO that aims at bringing current and future units in the game (2020-2050).

The mod is early in development and introduces very limited modifications for now but we will bring modifications step by step with the objective of reaching a complete overhaul of the experience in the end with new weapons, units, traits, etc.


The milestone V0.2 “Opération Daguet” is out, introducing the French 1re Division Blindée, supported by some German elements of the Franco-German brigade.

So what can you expect in this first big update?
Almost 100 modern and near-future units

However as we announced earlier, we focused on data so no 3D models for now, they will be rolled out progressively. Also some units, prototypes, balancing, unit traits and weapon traits are missing.

Next to come:
USA - 1st Armored Division (WIP)
RUS - 2nd Motor Rifles DIvision (WIP)
CHN - A first chinese division (WIP)



If you are interested in joining the project yourself or know other creators with similar initiatives feel free to reach out ! There is no small contribution and the more we are, the more content and variety we will be able to bring.

3D models are planned but we are lacking sufficient knowledge on texturing side and blender. If you know anyone that would be willing to help on those subject or at least help us setup the pipeline we would be more than grateful !

Modèles 3D prévus, on galère juste car pas assez de connaissance dans l'équipe. On essaye de trouver du monde qui pourrait nous aider spécifiquement à l'intégration et au texture des modéles.

prévoyez vous d’insérer les modèles 3d ou cela restera t il en l'état ? merci et bon courage pour tout ce travail, (pour une fois que qqlq redonne de la grandeur aux unité française...)
