The Solar System (Scale 1:40) (Real Solar Systems)

描述
Scale(ish) model of the solar system with minimal added planet types (RealStar, RealGasGiant, RSS_Mercury, and RSS_Venus are the only modded planets). Utilizes the "Real Solar Systems" mod to allow planets to orbit and rotate.

Scale for planet size is 1:40, and scale for planet distance is 1:10,000. Moon distances from planets are adjusted for visuals rather than authentic scale. The sun is scaled to appear the correct size from Earth (not true scale).

Day and year values by default are accurate to their real counterparts.
The Earth will take a full real-life year to orbit the Sun.

hey my world time is stuck, any way to fix it? at first i thought its just slow and i turned up global timescale to 50x and continued playing and i have played around 30h with 50x timescale and everything is in the same place as i started playing, it has been always day the other planets are in the same place, i started a new world with this but it had the same problem. any way to fix the stuck time?

It sounds like you must have downloaded the world when it was broken after an update. I can send you the Config.xml to fix it on Discord if you want. Or just make a new file as it should be fixed now.

I'm not sure about performance, but you can "replicate" the issue by taking any RSS world and removing the RSS mod from it (but leave RealGasGiants and RealStars). Currently RSS isn't doing anything on that world because all the planets are disconnected.

Respawning on every planet, I can say Its to SCALE for sure. But that aside, how is it that it doesn't register any planets in the TSE Menu?

I feel like that helps my computer off a lot. And I want to replicate it. :steamhappy:

So is it possible to make all the planets, Asteroids, planets moons, industrial overhaul, water mod, deep ore, & eclipse?

Not sure if it's a bug or something I've done wrong, but when I load into the game world on the planet it starts you off in the lighting and textures are fine, but 5 seconds later it loads in a lower detailed terrain and all the shadows are missing.

If I hit escape to bring up the menu all the stuff loads back in, exit menu it reverts to the low detail low/no shadows, the vanilla game and even vanilla systems of this mod does not do this. Anyone have any ideas how to fix it?

Also you seem to spawn in with only your tools, that's pretty hardcore, not really sure what to do when you can't build anything.

You can add whatever mods and change whatever settings you want after the world is created. It doesn't let you change most things in the options until after it's created.

How can I make time go faster

OK now I landed on an asteroid 361.62km from earth center and 201 km over my Ice Lake and I see things moving ! It seems that the earth ROTATES !

I named that asteroid Copernic in celebration and will check periodically. As my game is in 4x globaltimescale I should see the situation in 3h. My reco ship is perfectly aligned with earth center so I will keep you posted
