This mod is now deprecated as its functionality has been integrated into the base game. All bonus values previously provided by this mod are now included under the default bonus names in the base game :)

I 100% agree, so many of them you should never pick. The developers have mentioned they want to make the starting bonuses more unique to each country but I don't think it's a priority.

I am very slowly making a mod to rework the start up bonuses, so keep an eye out in the next month or so.

I've changed the wording around so it's more clear it is a one time bonus BUT It seems in a recent patch they added the all the values into the tooltips, so this mod is pretty much depreciated.

yea, you should rather have written "Start with 5 and no further production of them". Also .... it wasnt clear for you so you made that mod? Sad.. realy sad... sorry but nothing else then "you start with X amount of X exp" should deter you from even CONSIDERING PICKING IT. Even a frelling UNIT at gamestart is BETTER.
