As for the Inioch family, I held out a long time on adding them to the mod partly for the reason you describe: They're a bit bland and same-y imo. I ended up adding them due to the requests of others, and just in the interest of being thorough with my mod.
That said, I try not to meddle with faction design and provide characters as-is unless they have a bug or other quirk that effects them mechanically (i.e. unspent faction trait points), In the case of the Inioch quartet, none of them are randomly selectable by the AI so you'll not see them showing up in your game unless you intentionally add them. =)
I ended up not adding them figuring no one would want them, but I'm open to getting them put in the roster if you'd like.
