"Before the fall of Trante to the Dreaming, the Court Between sent an expedition to conquer the ash-clad foothills of old Soracte. They made war on the Manes, first by steel and then by water, washing away the crust of ash and magma to reveal a fertile countryside. There they built their own cities on the ruins of the old Velscian ones, and quickly achieved prosperity unimaginable in their lost homeland. With wealth comes strife, though, and the young nation was over time beset by fraudsters, bandits, ruthless mercenaries and mighty potentates. A few of the displaced courtiers of Trante, styling themselves the Optimates, seized the opportunity and unified the land into a single principality by subversion and conquest. Under their loose rule, Trinaca has lost little of its dynamism or its menace - its artists turn out masterpieces and its leaders grow ever more cunning and grandiose. With the rise of the Awakening God, they cast in their lot together - after all, what greater ambition is there than to play kingmaker for all existence?"

My fourth Dominions mod and third mod nation, made in rather anxious circumstances between July and October of 2024. It is a Water/Fire/Astral/Glamour nation with many and varied options, all of which require massive amounts of cash. Trinaca took a lot more time because of the sheer number of assets required, but it has a lot of character as a result.

Thank you! Balance is a very high priority when I'm designing nations - ideally any one of them would be perfectly at home in an otherwise vanilla lobby. I agree that Expropriation's underpriced, by the way. I'll take a look at it.

I think the Expropriation spell should be 20 slaves and then this might be the most interesting actually balanced with vanilla mod nation I've ever seen. Respect

I designed them before realizing #luck isn't an available unit tag, so they're sacred as a placeholder until that gets added. I have requested it, so here's hoping Illwinter listens.

Yeah, that's intentional. The tag's mostly there for flavor, but you can also take an Obfuscate bless and use them like Dryads.

Would it be possible to note the id ranges this mod uses, in order to allow for easier use and compatibility fixing?
