描述
an experimental branch of the original custom missile mod

Trackers, targets and flares are untouched by me, so no description >:)

mines:
-now with 3 new explosion options. each explosion option deals a different amount of damage in a different radius, use at your own risk
-smart option: missile will explode when (it stops getting getting closer to the target or is about to hit the targert) AND (when is in trigger range)

Drags:
-apply a custom drag force when activated (via activation distance)
-drag force cannot be negative, aka cannot accelerate the block
-when drag strength is set to negative, it will apply positive drag (aka the drag that slows it down), but it will scale based on the square of the speed (aka double the speed for 4 times the drag). when drag strength is set to positive, it will apply positive drag (aka the drag that slows it down), but it will scale based on the velocity (aka double the speed for double the drag)

Thrusters:
-apply a constant force for a certain amount of time, given in seconds

Aerotrackers:
-work kinda like trackers, but they always lead
-strength is adjusted by speed and the strength
-formula is as follows:
min( floor(strength) , (strength%1)*(speed^n) )
where n is 1 if its linearly proportional to speed, n is 2 if its quadratically proportional to speed
-tldr, integer part of the strength is the max power, the fraction part is the speed multiplier
-now with a "loft" option, aerotrackers will either aim 0, ~10, ~20 or ~30 degrees up if at the same altitude as the target. this does not increase the effective range of the missiles, as air density isnt lowered with altitude, but it allows missiles to avoid ground when necessary, and allows bombs that use the aerotracker to be guided in a trajectory more approperiate for ground targets

Camera controls:
-number selects which aerotracker to track, in order of activation.
-1 is the first one, 2 is the second one, 0 is the last one activated
-the camera follows the trackers position, although it may sometimes missallign at higher speeds
-if the viewed aerotracker sees a target, the camera points straight towards it. if the viewed aerotracker is not targetting anything, the camera faces forwards

Dist to target:
-first number reads out the smallest distance between any tracker (that is tracking you) and you
-second number reads out the smallest distance between any tracker (that is tracking your target block) and the target block
-helps as a missile shot warning, helps with timing evasion and judging whether the missile will hit you or not (if the missile has limited energy)

now fixed the problem of explosions crashing the game

@Bombastic Mantis Stare, nobody cares about a fucking fictional character Joey, you could've done better than to encourage spamming and falling for the lie but noooo, you decided to become the type of kid who believes everything on the internet.

ARNING! Carry on reading! Or you will die, even if you only looked at the word warning! Once there was a little boy called Joey, he was ten-years-old and he lived in a mental hospital because he posted a crappy copypasta onto a People Playground mod's comment section . He got so bad he went to kill all the staff in the hospital so the Feds decided that best idea was to get rid of him so they set up a special room to kill him, as inhumane as possible. And he sat there in agony for hours until he died. Now every week on the day of his death he returns to the person that reads this letter, on a monday night at 12:00 a.m. He creeps into your room and kills you slowly, by pegging you and watching you bleed to death. Now send this to ten other profiles on this one site, and he will haunt someone else who doesn't. This isn't fake. apparently if u copy and paste this to ten comments in the next ten minutes nothing will happen: sorry man i am not taking the risk

For the source code, just look in your game files, for me the directory is "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\585420\3338913197\main.lua" This is true for all mods, can the fun part is, their are editable on your side, meaning for you and you only you can change the mod

old missiles yes are useless, but new ones should work? i will double check. i have also heard of the bug of stuff crashing the game, but i never experienced said problem

im having the same issue as bowtie below me and missiles are just usless now very unfortunate

you're probably aware, but editing the speed of the engines in your mod and the other main mod crashes the game.

ye, thats because the devs released a "fix" for a bug (which also imo is wrongly described in the patch notes) and now the color saving is screwed up. im actively working on a fix

I use the green eyeball facing forward and I have a perfectly aerodynamic missile built
