THIS REQUIRES TTT2 TO WORK.
Description
Simple MapVote Plugin with Icons. It uses built-in features from TTT2 to load the Icons.
You don't need to install any icon packs alongside this mod. It will work with any map from the workshop (as long as the workshop mod has an icon).
To limit the maps that are available in the vote, please use the built-in map selector from TTT2.
ConVars
mapvote_maplimit [12-48]: Maximum amount of maps shown in one vote
mapvote_timelimit [15-60]: Time limit for a vote (in seconds)
mapvote_allowcurrentmap [0|1]: Allows the current map to appear in the next vote again

How do i disable maps without a prefix? the mapvote_allowcurrentmap command does nothing.

The mod uses the built-in system from TTT2. You can set the TTT2 map pool as follows:
Open the TTT2 Menu (default keybind is F1), click on "Admin Commands", then select "Maps" and disable every category except ttt. (You need to be a server admin to do this.)

Don't change the LUA file, just set the cvar "mapvote_maplimit" to 48. (You also need at least 48 maps on your server.)
You can set the cvar by typing "mapvote_maplimit 48" in your server console (without the quotes).

I downloaded the mod and added it to my server add-ons folder, and tried to change the maximum maps from 24 to 48 via mapvote.lua but nothing happens
