The M4A2 Sherman is a early Sherman variant, introduced in January of 1942, which improves greatly on the base chassis of the M4A1. Besides a new engine and transmission, which also increases reverse speed, it has received more sturdy fenders, a much better protected gun mantlet that increases the survival rate of hits to the turret face a lot, a new coaxial gun (which the previous M4A1 lacked) and the inclusion of a brand new Heater built in. The M4A2 is able to support infantry a lot more than the previous A1 models while keeping the decent anti tank capabilities.
Though after mid 43 its capabilities fall off steeply since the new medium and heavy tanks it is encountering in Alaska have far better armour than the gun can feasibly pierce. This also made the army choose to prioritize the development of new armour piercing shells which soon got delivered to the troops.

After the later introduction of more upgraded shermans that put the M4A2 out of direct combat duty, a lot of their hulls were modified into troop carriers and still carried on serving at the front line.

1. Enable Ignition Switch
   
2. Enable Handthrottle Lever
   
3. Press and Hold the Starter Switch, Engage the Clutch (Seat Button 1) and wait for the engine to reach higher than 290 RPM
   
4. Let Go of Clutch and the Starter, Disable the Handthrottle lever
   
5. To shift into gear depress the clutch and press Up/Down to shift into desired gear (Fully manual gearbox, 5 forward, 1 reverse gear)

There can be slight issues with gearing, if its found, gear up to the maximum gear, then slowly go back to neutral. It then should have reset itself
