FELT Heading Holder v1.0

Heading holder is a system that aims to keep the same heading (direction) for the vehicle while movement. Input is compass reading. System's response is based on compass reading and parameters predetermined. Output is rudder.

This can be used to indicate desired heading, current heading and active/standby mode.
Desired heading: Direction (heading) intended to be followed.
Current heading: The direction the compass reads.
Active mode: Heading holder is active and controlling rudder.
Standby mode: Heading holder has detected a rudder movement by player and is waiting to set new direction (heading) as new desired heading. (This is only happens when you choose this setting from the controller)


Buzzer activates when a desired heading is set.


Physics sensor is requiered in order to read compass direction.
If there is no physics sensor in vehicle, it is allowed to modify the controller in order to work with compass sensor itself.
