Hello Everyone!!

The Great Revision became a Series!

After the release of the main mod TGR, we received a lot of feedback from the community, so we decided to create a "Series" taking all the features present in The Great Revision, and split in several mini-mod, to allow the players to decide themself which feature apply in full freedom!

EPISODE 2 - PRODUCTION AND TRADE
AI in Vanilla is definitively too boring. All Economies are pretty the same, and there is a very low differentiation.
So in this episode, TGR is introducing "Production & Trade" Rework!

This Mod will give a huge boost to AI, making it more smart and active to develops its Economy.
The Features introduced in "Production & Trade" are described as below:


CONSUMER GOODS ECONOMY & WAR ECONOMY
Now AI have two new strategies to direct its Internal Agenda.: Consumer Goods Economy and War Economy!

-CONSUMER GOODS ECONOMY drive the AI to produce all cycle/consumer goods, trying to increase the standard of living of pops, and export large quantities of these goods to the other markets

-WAR ECONOMY instead set the focus to develop the heavy industry, to become one of main exporter of weapons in the world (or maybe to prepare for some invasion?)

AI STRATEGIES & PRODUCTION BUILDINGS
Improved administrative strategies, now when you see that a country has a "plantation economy", "Industrialize" or other strategies, the AI ​​will REALLY focus on shaping its Economy following his internal politica Agenda.
In fact now, based on the strategy adopted, the AI will focuses to construct all those buildings to become main exporter of that good to other markets meanwhile importing all those goods it needs for its production.

TRADE REWORK & TRADE CENTERS
Improved trade, now both you and the AI ​​can export huge quantities of goods, and this means that if you want to produce luxury clothes (for example), you don't need to also construct the buildings that give you the goods needed to produce them, but you can import them IN FULL.
Added also the subsidy for trade centers, which is fundamental for trade and making trade routes productive

COMPANIES & PRIVATE INVESTMENT
Now the companies have a great weight on the production activity, when you select a type of company (both you and the AI), you will incentivate the private investors to construct more buildings related to the company.
Also increased bonuses to give a competitive advantage to nations that export goods related to their companies.

Everything is scaled with Prestige. More you will increase your prestige, more strong bonuses you'll receive, so FIGHT TO INCREASE YOUR PRESTIGE!

Hello, I have a question. As I understand it, the mod should automatically set tariffs and subsidies for AI at the beginning, but when I press the key, it also sets them for me, which almost immediately leads to a negative income.

mmm not definitively. I think there is some mod conflict. This mod change slightly some technologies, but do not impact the gameplay in this way.

Could you send me some screenshot of your problem in the discord group?

This mod changes first technology unlocks. Which gives manufacturering for textile.
Last night I played around 1863 the whole world market is only able to produce clotes with substence farming which whole world now lacks. Clipers...no one were able to produce it. Even paper is so rare thing.

But buildable things like iron, weapons even oil is so cheap!

Is this intented? how to produce clothing with this mod? Or paper things like that

Hi, I'm not sure if it's a bug or on purpose, but on patch 1.9 some companies have massive amount of possible goods enabled. For example Brothers Thonet (Austria) and Schneider (France) have about 10 basic goods by default as their possible production and some you can add additionally.
