Aberrant Metal

描述
Adds the Aberrant Metal as a playable Elder God, a parasitic living metal that manifests within centers of industry. It will slowly consume cities, transforming them into massive factory complexes with the sole purpose of furthering its own growth.

Features
  • 11 Elder Powers spread across 9 Seals
  • A seal-breaking system tied to the Production Cores you build
  • Powers that transform infiltrated cities
  • An Eldritch Smog mechanic that will spread across the map
  • Unique mechanics for Orcs and Deep Ones to aid in your apocalypse
  • Unique responses from both elves and dwarves (the latter if the DLC is enabled) that can be enabled/disabled in the mod configuration
  • Multiple random events unique to the Aberrant Metal and its spread

Are the cores supposed to generate menace? Also I've broken through 3 seals and world panic hasn't shifted. Is this intended?

I would echo one question sewnutty had about deep ones.

I wasn't sure how to interact with them, with Orcs it was much more straightforward and enjoyable.

@sewnutty Recyclers will continue to produce a little extra eldritch smog, but don't be afraid to switch them out for Repomen or Miners. Recyclers' main purpose is to ensure your infected cities don't starve out before they can become Factories.

Found the challenge "Integrate into the Dark Empire" this has worked rather hilariously as my factories joined an earlier dead Dark Empire. XD Regardless their massive armies helped rather nicely.

Query: what is the point of recyclers after the city converts to a factory and how to weaponize the armies of laborers?

Kept running into issues of each factory declaring independence to the dark and not engaging in any....well anything.

Attempting to trigger Deep one interactions but aside from contaminates in the water....nothing. DX

I'm not sure about what Jesters said, as i did an orcs game, but THREE CHEERS for Wonderblunder for making a mod that you can use for an orcs/deep ones game!

Great mod but the cores arent generating profile or menace properly for me which made the run too simple.
