Hey! You know what they say, a shot in the dark is better than no shot at all -- I'm a writer, and I cant map for my life, ive tried. I wrote a story for a portal game, designed some puzzles for it, and drew some concept art for it. Ah darn! I had to do a weird hack to stop the laser from closing the door on unpowered if the trap condition was activated (which is achieved by throwing both cubes into the end platform)

Hello! The laser catcher issue seems to be exclusive to Linux. The overlap between `laser_catcher` and `laser_fake` is the issue. Somehow, the Windows and Linux builds of Portal 2 handle the arithmetic to solve this overlap in different ways.
