Automatic Crab Trap

描述
Simply attach to ship via the electrical connector. Crane it using the same connector.

Once it is disconnected, it will auto deploy and anchor itself to the seabed, and auto extend the rope to the depth of the water it is deployed in (max length 40m).

To remove it from the ocean, simply reconnect to the electrical connector, and the assembly will retract back to storage position.

When deployed:
-Transponder activated, so it can be easily located again.
-Orange light on the buoy, which changes to green when at set fill level (default 1).
-Auto recharging batteries via solar panels.

thanks! it works very well

Make sure you replace the sub-assembly on your ship if you have it there, since it has been updated.

Thanks for helping, that's awfully nice of you.

I found the issue. The winch was attempting to winch up but it was also still trying to winch down from the initial deployment. I updated the logic to check if the connector was NOT connected and disable the winch down after the delay.

I tested it and it seems to work now. Thanks.

Or, can we ask what you used to pull it out? Just a normal crane with an electric connector?
CAT_OPS 10 月 5 日 上午 3:27
I mean, should we connect something in the composite logic?

PossiblyLucas0680 and I tried to work on this together. It really doesn't retract after lifting it out of the water. We used an electric connector, and we make sure that we supplied power to the connector on our crane, and lifted the buoy out of the water using the crane and connector, and it still didn't retract. Should we connect some sort of composite connectors?

but when i get it out of the water it doesnt
Marcotics  [作者] 10 月 3 日 下午 7:57
No. You have to get it out of the water to retract.

how does this work? idk how to get it to retract
