Meet Dave - The Child Consumer!
Dave can only have soul hearts and spawns 0-2 of his children upon every room clear; you can either have your horde fight alongside you in battle or consume them for an impermanent boost in power!

wtf... so turns out one of the Mini-Daves went on its own for too long, it mutated and turned into Denis

yeah rgon isnt needed but it works a lot better with rgon

Somehow this mod works for me without rgon in rep+
