Are you tired of finding the same boring, generic vanilla comic books? Are you searching for immersive comics that won't flood the world with unbalanced spawn rates? Have you always wanted to collect unique comic books and show them off?

Look no further! The Hephas Comics mod adds over 90 immersive comics, all published before 1992. Each comic series features its own unique cover, and about 15 of them are particularly rare, offering slightly better bonuses. They're also re-readable and won't vanish!

There's even a super rare, exclusive Spiffo's Adventure series that includes 8 comic books! Huge thanks to Chuckleberry Finn for the awesome hand-drawn title for this exclusive series!

With the latest update, there are now comic packages that provide a randomly selected comic upon opening and even come with custom sayings for a more immersive experience!

Collect them all and have fun!









It should be compatible with everything since this mod doesn't replace anything and the spawn rates are balanced.




Does it work in Multiplayer?
It does!

Does it work on existing saves?
It does! The comics will spawn once the loot in the world respawns.
If you’ve already collected a ton of comic books, you now have the option to "convert" them into Hephas Comics!


Will there be any updates and are suggestions allowed?
Suggestions are more then welcome! Feel free to leave a comment in the suggestion thread.

Yep, adding non perishable and re readable literature is a bit difficult to the new b42. Adding them properly would require overwriting a couple vanilla functionalities, thats I didn't port the mod to b42 yet

It’s currently on hold - B42’s approach to literature is a bit too hardcoded to simply port this mod over.
It requires a small overhaul and since I’m currently busy working on Project Volga Ural and the revamp of the Post-Soviet Armory mod, it’ll be a while before I can return to this lovely mod of mine. :handsup:
