There is a Family of microscopic wasps that are smaller than some Cells
To even get to this size, they eject the Cell-core of their brain cells
The cell core creates protein for the cell and is ejected.
The cell cant create what it needs to survive anymore, but
with a life shorter than a week it just needs to barely function for that long.
Same as the trees here. After the last building is made you dont need a tree
I have seen a 4x4 map on mod.io before and wanted to create the first survivable one
with the new overhangs.
Currently you can build the basics you need to survive, and it took a few attempts.
But the map had to be built with the buildings in mind
You for sure are right about 5X5, but its even worse as I could not make planks and power on the same level. I thought about using folktail wheel and something like storage to transmit power vertically. Overall space is rare so you have to consider what building you want to make space for.
Even planks did not make the cut
5X5 also cant build every building, but you could even make it up to metal.
This type of map can also never have sustainable metal as mine needs too much space
5X5 also allows you to build past starting hut and gives more freedom with stairs.
+ aditional space as you can build above starting hut.
But I could make a similar argument for 6X6 or to include bigger buildings like Wonder
this probably needs to be at least 5x5.
