描述

Stage 3 / Final Version / April 20th 2025

de_golden is a 5v5 bomb defusal map set on a small remote island somewhere in the Pacific Ocean, where life revolves around a gold mine facility and a miners village.

Location

The gameplay of the map mostly takes place in two areas of the island:

— Bombsite A is set in an industrial facility owned by Kanejima Mining Corp., which is responsible for running all mining operations on the island.

— Bombsite B is set in an old miners village, with a central point consisting of a metal statue portraying the founder of this mining settlement.

Layout

The map's layout is relatively compact, with a decent amount of verticality, designed for quick rotations and flanks, fun peeks, and exciting duels. In it's core, it basically follows a standard three-lane map layout with two fast connectors between sites.

Friend, from the bottom of my heart, better than the palace map, but it's still shit. Why so many passages, so many corners, so many places? WHAT A MESS. DOOR???????????? Door doesn't make sense, it goes from A to B??????

24 hours later and this terrible ct spawn crash bug still in the game is unacceptable. 12 round half and only being able to play 1 full round is fucking infuriating. How have you not fixed this yet. I love playing community maps but after playing multiple games today and yesterday and having it happen each time I already have lost any excitement to play this map again while its in rotation. Grats on having it added but I'm sorry this quality control is terrible, fix it now and once it's fix I still don't see any reason to play this again. Worst first impression on a map ever.
