How to : Disable every other mods and activate this one (and the texture pack) then you can edit maps with this tool.


This mod Allows you to place faction specific trees (maples, mangrove etc) and "wild crops" (carrots, sunflower, corn...) on your maps. Those will remain readable even by the vanilla game although they might disappear or be converted (carrot -> kohlrabi) depending on the faction you play.

BUT !

you cannot play with this mod active. it will crash. disable this mod, activate the "special maps reader mod" and then you can play with the custom assets.

Among said custom assets, you will also find custom ruins giving logs, planks, or gears, special water sources that can be place wherever you want, and the necessary stuff to make "sky islands" maps (floating crystals, void tiles etc)

if you try to play a map using those without the map reader, they will simply vanish.
