Town Builder

描述

The town builder allows you to build a town with a custom predefined street network, that is more efficient and aesthetically pleasing than what the base game produces.

You can:
- build a new town from scratch
- completely bulldoze and rebuild an existing town
- non destructively expand an existing town

There are several layouts to choose from including:
- Simple grid
- A city of concentric circles
- various other patterns to keep things interesting

I have reused some of the code from the minimap to present a live preview of the proposed build.

Additional features:
- You can automatically setup bus or tram lines
- Options available for highway construction on the town perimiter and centralised one way streets for traffic management
- Optional roundabouts at major intersections
- Allow bridges and tunnels to expand into otherwise unreachable areas

Optional mods:
This mod is completely standalone, and has no required dependencies. However, if you choose to install it will integrate with the following:
- "Undo!" - this allows for some work to be undone such as expanding the existing street network (note that complete town replacement cannot be undone)
- "Light rail overhaul" - if installed you can select the option to automatically create an elevated light rail network in the town
- "Better interchanges for vanilla roads" - if installed it will use a slightly improved construction for highway junctions

Caution! The rebuild option should only be used on cities that you do not have any bus/truck/tram lines. Removing all streets removes stops, and the game may crash if it can't find a place to put player vehicles that were on the network.

- adds a new feature to allow rebuilding of all towns at once

The mod is displayed in the main menu but not in the game itself. What is wrong?

Yo bro amazing mode, For some reason i had a build get stuck on working, is there a way to stop it in game if it gets stuck? i managed to do it by exiting and coming back to the save but would be great for an ingame option :)

Its okay bro you did an amazing job making this mod
I love this mod and its relaxed to make big projects with it shit happends after an update its frustrating at first but then we know you will be on it as soon as you find the time and moment for it thanks dude will try it this evening after finishing my meal cant wait to try !!!! yeah it will load perfectly without the mod :( but as soon as you will eneable the mod again the game crashes dude :(

just unsubscribe and remove the mod next time you load the save and it'll load the save just fine.

same here months playing with this mod and now after an update it wont load my save game delete everything maybe thats the problem after some tests conclusion this mods has been updated and it crashes months of work gone :(
